I've never been banned in ten years of using my own Simba scripts (RS3). There's a client (called SMART) that is optional but mainly for convenience only. With Simba you can do whatever you want including adding biometrics but it's generally not needed unless you expect to be reported a lot or doing an obvious activity like blue dragons/zamorak wines.
